Description
During 2020 we had discussions around the topic of Diversity, Equity & Inclusion. Before the year ends, we’d like to invite you to another conversation around DEI at 11:30 a.m. next Tuesday, Dec. 29, via Zoom.
We are creating a DEI Committee for 2021 and we’d like to do some brainstorming around the topic. Some of you have expressed interest via our DEI survey; some of you said, “Not right now, but keep me posted.” So this does not oblige you to be part of the committee. Rather, it’s a conversation around what a DEI committee will look like and what the mission of the committee would be in coordination with the Chamber’s mission to:
- Promote business
- Enhance economic development
- Serve as a catalyst for improving the quality of life in the community
